Muscle and Salt, a project of Art Basel Parcours organized by Richard Gray Gallery, is an immersive installation that brings together two entwined facets of Jim Dine's artistic practice: sculpture and poetry. Dine’s poetry covers the walls and envelops his roughly hewn, classically inspired sculptures—wooden figures of Hellenistic dancers and a large expressionistic self-portrait head.
